Nike Air Zoom G.T. Cut 3 EP

As time went by, Nike officially announced the Air Zoom G.T. Cut 3 a few days ago, immediately attracting a lot of attention. While maintaining the original high appearance level, Nike has carried out a “milestone”-style complete upgrade of the midsole technology. Let’s start with the design. The overall design remains the same – low at the front and high at the back, retaining the traditional aggressive speed sensation of the Air Zoom G.T. Cut. It seems that not breaking through would be a disservice to this design. The toe area is composed of thin leather and Flywire cables. Compared to the previous two generations, the sense of envelopment has been significantly improved. In addition, the indispensable TPU support plate of each generation is also combined, tightly locking the wearer’s feet in the shoes to ensure the shoe-foot integration. The Swoosh on both the inside and outside sides all have multiple ventilation hole designs, truly achieving a cooling effect, and not being too tight on the feet. The tongue of the shoes is quite different from previous basketball shoes for practical use. It adopts a semi-opened split design similar to running shoes, and the combination of the laces can not only enhance the sense of envelopment but also reduce the possibility of the tongue running around during exercise. Moving to the midsole, the new Nike Air Zoom G.T. Cut 3 has ZoomX foam all over the sole, which is regarded as Nike’s cushioning “golden trademark”. This is also Nike’s first time applying this technology in practical basketball shoes, so it can be regarded as a “milestone”-like existence.
