Nike Air Zoom G.T. Cut 3 EP

Recently, Nike officially unveiled the Air Zoom G.T. Cut 3, instantly drawing widespread attention. While maintaining its signature high aesthetic appeal, Nike has made a “milestone” upgrade to the midsole technology. In terms of design, the shoe retains its classic low-toebox, high-heel silhouette, preserving the bold speed-oriented look of previous G.T. Cut models—making it feel like you’d be doing your shoes a disservice if you didn’t break through the court. The toe area features lightweight suede and Flywire cables, significantly enhancing the fit compared to earlier generations. Combined with the TPU support shank—a staple across all iterations—the shoe securely locks the foot in place, ensuring excellent integration between shoe and foot. Both inner and outer sides of the shoe incorporate multiple ventilation holes in the Swoosh, effectively improving breathability and preventing excessive heat buildup. The tongue departs from traditional basketball silhouettes, adopting a semi-split design similar to running shoes. This not only improves fit but also reduces the chance of the tongue shifting during movement. Moving to the midsole, the new Air Zoom G.T. Cut 3 features ZoomX foam under the entire sole—an innovation long regarded as Nike’s gold standard for cushioning. This marks the first time Nike has applied this technology to a performance basketball shoe, making it a truly groundbreaking advancement.
